Women aren’t alone when it comes to wanting to lose weight, poor life style, diet and lack of exercise encourageover weight man weight gain on men just as it does with women. Generally dieting does seem to be a ‘womans thing’, but there are many popular plans and herbal supplements that work just as well for either sex.

Being unhappy with your weight and appearance can lead to low esteem, poor image and depression. Add to that the general health risks associated with being overweight and you soon realise that maintaining a healthy weight is extremely important.

Drinking water is also essential, a lot of us get hunger pangs which lead us to snack between meals, and quite often this is actually the body simply telling us that we are thirsty and we misread the signs.

 The thing to do is if these hunger pangs take hold is , have a small glass of water, then wait 20 minutes, in a lot of cases the pangs will disappear, if they don’t, just have a small piece of fruit or a couple of crackers. This will help you to last until meal time.
